HUNGARIAN TO ORBIT
HUNOR – Hungarian Astronaut Program
After more than forty years, Hungary is once again sending a human into space.
Following a two-year selection and training process coordinated by Hungarian experts, and an additional 8–10 months of mission-specific training provided by NASA and Axiom Space, Hungarian research astronaut Tibor Kapu will serve aboard the International Space Station (ISS) as a crew member of the Ax-4 mission. While on board the ISS, the astronaut will carry out scientific experiments developed by Hungarian universities, companies, and research institutions.
Meanwhile, Gyula Cserényi, serving as the backup research astronaut, will support the mission from Earth.
This historic endeavor positions Hungary and the Hungarian space sector at the forefront of the international space industry, contributes to the creation of high value-added career opportunities, energizes the Hungarian scientific community, and inspires scientific curiosity among the Hungarian people.

We set out to design a timepiece that pulses with the spirit of discovery, embodies technological precision, and reflects the pride that the HUNOR program represents for Hungary. From the very first sketches, the goal was clear: to craft a watch that goes beyond time itself.

During production, we employed solutions that can withstand even the harshest environments—because a watch worthy of space could be made no other way. The result is a precision instrument, built to meet the challenges of space exploration.
